Several students from TechBoston Academy lunched with Mayor Menino to discuss ways in which Boston Public Schools and the City of Boston could come together to combat the growing problem of cyber-bullying.
The Mayor and BPS Superintendent Carol Johnson heard from students first-hand about their experiences with cyber-bullying, as they work to craft the city’s response to the issue. Mayor also viewed a PSA created by TBA students, and announced that a new city hotline that was in the works that will allow Boston students to report cyber threats anonymously. The city has also created a website dedicated to the issue, it can be viewed here.
