Ms. Kissel’s began teaching Spanish I and II at TechBoston Academy in 2008. She previously taught in Pittsburgh, PA and St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. She has a B.A. in Spanish from Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico and a Masters degree in Foreign Language Education from the University of Pittsburgh.

Prior to teaching, Ms. Kissel worked with Spanish speaking families at non-profit social service agencies and volunteered at a school in Jamaica. She enjoys urban bike riding, hiking, photography, traveling as much as possible and experimenting with fused glass. Ms. Kissel has two Puerto Rican cats name Margarita and Chiquita.
