Grades 6-8

TBA is a student-centered learning environment where technology is the bridge that connects a student to their learning experience.  Similar to the High School, the Middle School Curriculum is college preparatory and project-based.  The curriculum allows teachers to individualize learning so that the unique needs of their students will be met. The daily schedule will include history, math, English, science and introductory and advanced technology courses , as well as, health and theater arts classes to create a diverse learning experience for the students.

Specific academic needs will be addressed for all students by incorporating small group instruction of basic skill work, structuring individual tutoring based on specific student needs, and providing reading and writing enrichment to help develop students skills that will support them in all areas of learning.  TBA’s day runs from 8:30-3:30 and has 6 periods lasting 60 minutes each. There is an extended day program that offers enrichment and athletic programs for all students.
